Okay...first BRITNEY SPEARS. Whoever thought she would debut in the Top Ten with her compilation album was mistaken. I remember making a comment a few months ago when Madonna released "Celebration" that it would be difficult for BRITNEY and Janet to place high with their material. Let's see how Janet does next week. BRITNEY's "3" remains in the Top Ten...which is good...but I'm ready for a new studio album...and here's hoping it'll be worth the wait.

MELANIE FIONA and WALE...FIONA had already broken onto the Billboard 200 once before...#57 is the highest she's peaked thus far. WALE...man, it's amazing how none of his singles are placing high on the charts...but he had the highest debut on the 200...that's interesting.

ALEJANDRO SANZ had the highest debut out of his other two contenders VICTOR MANUELLE and JENCARLOS. MANUELLE debuts at the top of the Tropical Albums chart, while JENCARLOS rests right underneath SANZ on the Latin Albums and Latin Pop Albums charts. The thing is...both MANUELLE and JENCARLOS have to do something to keep making their music known. It doesn't matter if you've been around for years or you have a recognizable role in a Spanish soap opera...if you're music isn't out there...you will be forgotten.

GLEE's soundtrack album stays in the Top Ten...but AMERIE and RYAN LESLIE both fall over sixty spots down the charts...I'm pretty certain their presence on the Billboard 200 will be absent with two week's time.

CHECK HERE NEXT WEEK on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 26th, 2009 to find out how JANET JACKSON, 50 CENT, NORAH JONES, JOHN MAYER, KRIS ALLEN, JUSTIN BIEBER, LEONA LEWIS, ONEREPUBLIC, BOYZ II MEN, and PRETTY RICKY do on the charts!
