SNOOP DOGG-- "Malice N Wonderland" (Rating 4/5)

SNOOP DOGG has the ability to ALWAYS make me happy with his music...with or without the finest weed! (Yeah...I said it!) Last year's "Sexual Eruption" showed a very different side of the veteran rapper after he gave us his singing ability (through Autotune usage...and it worked pretty well). After twenty years of being in the game, what does SNOOP DOGG have to offer us now?

"Malice N Wonderland" is one of those albums that can either be loved or hated...there's no in between. At first, I wasn't sure what I was going to think of it, considering that last year's "Ego Trippin'" album had me skipping ahead to certain tracks. Not with this album...from beginning to end, SNOOP DOGG takes you on a joyride through the formula he's mastered down to a science. It was very difficult for me to maintain being seated while doing this review, especially when I got towards the middle of the album. Tracks like "Pronto" featuring Soulja Boy Tell 'Em and "Upside Down" featuring Problem and Nipsey Hussle are bound to get you movin'. One of the more curiously inviting songs is "Secrets" featuring Kokane, which features a sample from The Romantics' original "Talking In Your Sleep"...definitely an awesome surprise. "Malice N Wonderland" ends with the sexy and inviting final love tracks on the album "Luv Drunk" featuring The-Dream and "Special" featuring Brandy and Pharrell.

"Malice N Wonderland" is filled with hard-hitting beats and SNOOP DOGG's ever-so-popular way with words...I gotta go cop this album! If you're looking for something that you can bop your head to along with the beat...this is it!

Songs that I Absolutely Enjoyed from the Album:
• I Wanna Rock
• 1800 featuring Lil' Jon
• Different Languages featuring Jazmine Sullivan
• Gangsta Luv featuring The-Dream
• That's Tha Homie
• Upside Down featuring Problem and Nipsey Hussle
• Secrets featuring Kokane
• Pimpin' Ain't EZ featuring R. Kelly
